Blog Post #8: Suffering

The people I learned about in this unit suffered. But they dealt with this suffering. A recurrence of these people suffering was by God. They all seemed to be preach about God and be punished for it. They did not lose hope, though, and did not stop preaching. As much as some people disliked these preaching Apostles, there was still a good amount of people who stuck by them and helped them through their suffering. The Apostles may have lost some hope, but they never fully lost it. They remained hopeful they would get through their hardships, and always would.

The story I found most inspiring was the storm. Men including Paul went on a sail and got caught in a storm. They lost all their things, including their tackle to catch food. The men were beginning to lose hope, until an angel visited Paul. The angel told Paul not to be discouraged, and he went back to the other men and told them they needed to eat. They did so, and made it back home with the help of God. This story is inspiring because it reminds us to not lose hope and that God is always here for us.

Yes, I have experienced challenges in my life. They are hard to cope with, but there are a few things you need to do to get through them. First, you need to stay strong. You must stay strong through hardships. Second, you need people there for you. You need supporters in your life to help cope with hardships. Challenges are easier to be coped with when you have supporters around you. Lastly, you need to keep your faith in God. He is always there, no matter what. He never leaves us alone.

In times of need, I have many people I can turn too. I can turn to my friends and family. I mostly turn to my mom and aunt in my family. The friends I turn to most are Mia, Bella, and Patti. They are there for me through whatever. They always help me and get me up when I am down. I can trust these people with anything and everything. I am super glad that I have these helpful in my life.
