I could see myself sharing messages as the letter writer's did, but in a different way. The letter writer's shared about a controversy in that era. Jesus was being questioned about who he was and what he was doing. The letter writer's stayed by Jesus' side. Today, I might share stories of something I was super passionate about and was happening today. I would probably express this through something more modern, like a blog post or Instagram.
I learned many new things from the Marian Apparition projects. Before these projects, I knew nothing about these four stories. I enjoyed researching Lady of Guadalupe, as well as learning about the three other stories. They were interesting. I especially like the Lady of Guadalupe, because of the story itself. Mary wanted a church made in her name, so that people could come to her for help, healing, and comfort. She was being selfless, and also healed Juan Diego's uncle of his fatal illness. Mary is loving and caring for all, and wants the good for us.
Resilience was shown throughout my Marian Apparition project, Lady of Guadalupe. Mary is very brave and tough. She inspires others to be the same. Mary visited Juan Diego to help her help others. She inspired him to be brave and persistent, and also stay strong for his sick uncle. She eventually got what she had originally wanted, and Juan's uncle was healed.
I see myself as resilient, in ways. Everyone is resilient in their own way. They can have muscle and be strong, they can be headstrong, and they can also just be strong in the heart. I feel I can be resilient, but can also be very weak. Everyone has strong days, as well as weak ones. I try to stay strong, but sometimes life gets the best of me. But I try my best, and have help from family and friends.
